A striking German Riding Pony stallion who wins hearts at every venue, Mufasa D is an excellent choice for temperament and talent in a smaller package (~148.5 cm/~14.2 hands). While his superb character and rideability are Mufasa's most endearing qualities, he also sports excellent correct movement and impressive jumping ability. His pedigree is unique and appealing for North American pony breeders! Mufasa was carefully bred and raised in Germany by a husband and wife team, both veterinarians. He is safe and enjoyable, successfully competing with his amateur owner with scores over 70% in dressage at a mere four years old. Mufasa thrived under the careful development of Rachel Kaney, successfully tackling the FEI 4 year old test in 2024 to end ranking respectably among the best young horses in the country. Rachel brilliantly piloted Mufasa through both the dressage and the jumping portions of his stallion test, where he was named Champion Pony Stallion and garnered scores reflecting his ability and unbeatable temperament in strong company against full sized horses.

Mufasa;s sire, Mc Fly High D was very successful in the 110cm jumpers and in 3rd / 4th level dressage. He was an amazing producer with 2 licensed sons and 22 of his foals are in the age to compete under saddle. Of these - 14 have winnings and placings in sport – and with an outstanding rate of high performance! From his first 6 foals, 5 made it to the Bundeschampionat.
